About Freshy
Scott Willman is a versatile artist and designer from Colfax, California, born in 1970. He specializes in sculpture, architecture, landscape design, and sneaker design. Initially focusing on fantasy geometric sculptures, Willman later transitioned into architecture and landscape design, drawing inspiration from figures like Antoni Gaudí, Buckminster Fuller and Salvador Dali.
His largest and most notable project is THE FRESHY CASTLE, a continually evolving sculptural organic gothic castle, filled with serpentine lines and cave-like walls, set in the Sierra Nevada mountains, started in 2003. In 2015, he expanded into designing footwear, and in 2020, he launched his own sneaker and fashion brand, *FRESHY*. The brand, which blends luxury, California style, and high-end craftsmanship, is known for its bold colors, textures, and focus on comfort and quality. Willman has described sneakers as “foot sculptures,” merging his love for sculptural art with footwear design.
