More than 70 projects take part in the URF scientific competition: application is closed

The Fund received more than 70 project concepts from students and young scientists. They offered a fresh perspective on drinking water and soil purification, waste recycling, crop cultivation, artificial intelligence, demining, construction technologies, etc.

“We thank the contestants for their important initiatives. We thank them for daring to reveal their ideas to the world! On our part, this competition was conceived as a small step to support Ukrainian science in wartime. Now we are confident that it lives and will continue to live thanks to our talented youth,” emphasized Viktoriia Korsunova, Head of the Kyiv Office of the Ukrainе Reconstruction Fund.

We would like to emphasize that over the next few weeks, the participants’ work will be evaluated by the competition committee. The list of finalists along with further instructions will be posted no later than April 5, 2024 on the official websites of the Foundation and the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Until then, we will continue to publish short summaries of the concepts that are participating in the competition but have not yet been made public.
